Fernie Alpine Resort has wrapped up another winter season with an action-packed weekend of outdoor concerts and sporting events.

More than 50 teams and individuals contested the resort’s annual Powder, Pedal, Paddle relay race on Saturday before rocking out with Canadian quartet Sloan in the plaza.

On Sunday, about 40 costumed skiers and snowboarders made a splash at the Slope Soaker, with AC/DC tribute band, BC/DC, later taking the stage.

FAR received nearly 12 metres of snowfall over the season.
