William Fernie's handwritten letters mailed to his sister in England during the late 1800's are now on display at the Fernie Museum.

Letters form words, words form sentences, sentences can turn to expression, ideas, thoughts, opinions, which can then be sent in a letter. We appreciate your comments on our web page, Facebook and Twitter. We love hearing from you.

We invite you to send letters to our editor. It doesn't have to be a rant. If you like something we've covered in the paper, please send us a short rave. For example, if you liked seeing your favourite chemistry teacher being taped to a post, all in the name of charity of course, let us know. We'd love to hear from you.

Email your letter to the editor at editor@thefreepress.ca or send us a private message on Facebook. Please remember to include your full name, town of residence and a contact number so we can reach you for clarity sake.
