The Fernie Legion (Branch #36) is pleased to announce that there are four winners at the Zone level in the 2011-12, Remembrance Day Poster/Literary Contests.
The following students have earned certificates and prizes for their posters and poems at the East Kootenay Zone competition:
Ethan McRae, Isabella Dicken Elementary School, second primary black and white poster, Hunter Bezak, Fernie Academy, second intermediate black and white poster and Sindella Sugden, Fernie Academy, third intermediate poetry, and Laura Serafini, Jaffray Elementary-Secondary School, second senior poetry.
