The Hosmer Volunteer Fire Department along with nine-year-old Dakota Armstrong helped raise $5,000 for Tania Wallman.

The Hosmer Volunteer Fire Department with the fire truck after they shaved their heads on Friday night at Extra Foods in Fernie.

The Hosmer Volunteer Fire Department along with  nine-year-old Dakota Armstrong helped raise $5,000 for Tania Wallman.

The Shave that Firefighter event on Friday night was organised to raise money for Wallman who is looking for a stem cell donor.

Part of the money raised will also go to the One match stem cell and marrow program.
