Sparwood soccer season comes to a close

Kids ages four to ten enjoy hotdogs and treats to mark the close of the soccer season.



Kids ages four to ten and their families marked the end of the soccer season with a BBQ, games, and treats last weekend. Over two hundred and fourty Sparwood youth are enrolled in soccer from ages four  to eighteen. “We had a great season,” says Sparwood Minor Soccer President Cindy Thummerer. “Aside from it being short, the kids had a lot of fun,” she says.


Over four hundred and fifty hot dogs were served at the windup.


The Sparwood Minor Soccer Association would like to remind residents that coaches are always needed.
