Fernie was full of Olympic spirit as crowds gathered to celebrate Spirit Festival.Spirit Festival rolled into Fernie on the weekend with street hockey, carnival games, a presentation by Emily Brydon, and a theatrical presentation by students from Fernie Secondary School.Brydon shared her experience as an Olympian with the crowd outside the Fernie Museum.She said in closing that she had never felt prouder to be from Fernie as she did during the Olympics.Even the Griz came down from his cabin to join in the festivities.
