Fernie Heritage Library will be running afterschool programs from January 17.

Fernie Heritage Library will be running afterschool programs from January 17.

The programs will run until March 9, include a healthy snack and are free!

Tuesdays, 3:30 -4:45 p.m.  Learning with Lego – ages  6- 8

Wednesdays, 3:30 – 4:45 p.m.  Learning Games and Number Magic  – Learn in new ways as math and language are presented as magic and fun – ages  8 – 10

Thursdays, 3:30 – 5 p.m. Wordsmything – Play with words, drama games and writing to develop characters, stories and the library basement  blog   -ages  10 – 13

Fridays, 3:30 – 4:45 p.m.  –  Lego Challenges  – ages  10 – 12

 

 

For those in Grades 4 – 7 interested in reading and discussing new books as well as meeting authors, the Red Cedar Book Club is for you.

The club meets once a month on the second Thursday starting January 12 from 6:30 – 7:45 p.m.
