A Golden based three-piece garage, rock and roll band that describes itself as sounding like your dad’s record collection is playing in Fernie and Elkford.

A Golden based three-piece garage, rock and roll band that describes itself as sounding like your dad’s record collection is playing in Fernie and Elkford.

Stellar Radio Choir will be playing at The Central in Fernie and Sneaky’s Pub in Elkford with local Fernie band Mobina Galore.

With influences like The Velvet Underground, The Black Keys, The Rolling Stones, The Pixies and even Fleetwood Mac, Stellar Radio Choir combines hooky bass lines, a strong back beat and psychedelic, washed out guitar for a unique result.

They are touring off their debut EP, “Attack of the laser tiger.”

The legacy of rock and roll is present in every performance, from the music itself to the moustaches and fur scarves.

Stellar Radio Choir and Mobina Galore play at Sneaky’s in Elkford on June 14 and at The Central in Fernie on June 15.
