Grammy nominated Polka band, Brian Sklar and The Western Senators are heading to Fernie to pour out the good times. They’re the top Polka band in Canada and they’re coming here to play Oktoberfest; a night of dancing, eating and beer drinking featuring German food and polka.
The Western Senators have been practising the polka since 1976 and have an arsenal of material to draw from. The first 100 through the door at The Northern Bar and Stage will receive prizes including a bib that makes them look like they are wearing lederhosen (silly looking traditional Bavarian garb).
