Elkford Chamber of Commerce celebrated the accomplishments of local businesses and entrepreneurs at its Excellence Award Ceremony on Oct. 19 at the Elkford Community Centre.
12 award categories were presented that evening to vibrant non-profits, up-and-coming entrepreneurs and long-standing successful businesses. Award recipients were chosen through community nomination and a subsequent local judging panel.
Awards were presented by Re/Max board members Crystal Tennant and Stephanie Kniert, owner of Bite Me Freeze Dried Food Milan Belisle, and Chamber executive director Alyssa Burgoyne. Chamber president Jay Meakin served as the MC.
