Mutiple injuries were sustained in a highway collision near Elko on Oct. 10.
Elk Valley RCMP Cpl. Jana Brown said three vehicles were involved in the collision at 2 p.m, between Elko and a section of Highway 3 known as the 'rock cuts'. There were injuries, but no fatalities.
The Fernie Free Press newspaper delivery team were told to expect delays of up to eight hours that day as the wreckage was cleared, but were pleasantly surprised to find highway traffic flowing by 4:20 p.m.
