Amber Alert – Alberta RCMP Involved in Search for Missing BC Child

The search for 3 year old Kienan Hebert of Sparwood BC is also being conducted within Alberta. Law enforcement agencies in all areas of this province have been advised of the investigation and are aware of the descriptions of the missing child, Randall Peter Hopley, a person believed to be involved in his disappearance and the vehicle which may be used for transportation.

The search for 3 year old Kienan Hebert of Sparwood BC is also being conducted within Alberta.  Law enforcement agencies in all areas of this province have been advised of the investigation and are aware of the descriptions of the missing child, Randall Peter Hopley, a person believed to be involved in his disappearance and the vehicle which may be used for transportation.

In addition, any information surfaced by the BC RCMP investigators through investigation or tips from the public is being sent directly to the Alberta law enforcement agency of jurisdiction for further investigation.  These specific locations of these investigations are not being released at this time as public knowledge of these locations may impede efforts to locate Kienan.

Although a formal Alberta Amber Alert was not activated,  notification to the Alberta public was comprehensive as Alberta based media were immediately advised of, and acted upon, the BC Amber Alert details.  Distribution of incident details done through media distribution, the essential part of an every Amber Alert, was extensive.
