Isabella Dicken students and other elementary school kids in the Elk Valley and Crowsnest Pass have been learning about engineering with fun bridge building projects.

The kids made bridges out of 100 popsicle sticks and four ounces of wood glue, and then tested their weight holding ability.

There are prizes to be won for the strongest. So far, an IDES student is in the lead.

The  project is a parternship between Teck Coal and the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of B.C.
