Coal Miner Days celebration a success

The community of Sparwood gathered together to enjoy a busy Coal Miner Day's weekend.

Despite the gloomy weather, fun was had by all during the Coal Miner Days celebrations. Many attended the fireworks, parade, markets and more taking in all the sights and activities the weekend had to offer. Thanks to many community volunteers and the dedicated effort of Coal Miner Days president Renee MacCormack, the weekend went of without a hitch, and is known as the best yet!
