Mayea has made the podium in all three competitions she attended this year, earning one bronze and two silver medals.

MacPherson finished in first place at all three of her competitive events this season, earning new personal best scores at each event. She also won the Kootenay Region Champion Award in her category.

Alexandra Harrington represents the Sparwood Skating Club. She will be an alternate member of the Kootenay Region team in Kelowna. Harrington has had a stellar skating season in her final year with the Sparwood Skating Club. She has earned medals in all her competitive events this year. One second place finish and two third place results in free skate, and second place in all three events in her artistic category. She has also completed her Gold Artistic assessment this year. Harrington will be competing for the last time in Kelowna before moving on to post secondary education.

All three skaters, coached by Melanie Barker, have continued to improve and reach new goals over the course of the season earning personal best scores at each competition throughout the year. All three are working hard in these final few weeks toward continued success as they prepare for the event in Kelowna. These girls set their sights on making the Kootenay Region team right from the start of the season, and have worked hard since to make their dream a reality. The members of both the Elkford and Sparwood clubs are proud to have you represent them at the Super Series Finals, and will all be cheering for your success.
