The Fernie Ghostriders opened the scoring almost 13 minutes into the first period with a goal from Connor McLaughlin from Ben Primeau with Beaver Valley responding with a power play goal t 4:21 scored by Dallas Calvin from Christian Johnson and Justin Niminiken

The second period saw six goals four from the Fernie Ghostriders including at 18:41 - Brendan Burge from Zach Traverse, 16:31 - Marty Wicks (unassisted), 13:14 (PP) - Marty Wicks from Derek Georgopoulos and Alex Milhouse, and at 3:22 Patrick Webb (unassisted). The two Beaver Valley goals came from Max Flanagan (unassisted) at 18:33 and  at 8:00 - Dallas Calvin from Ryan Edwards.

The third period saw little action with the Fernie Ghostriders adding an empty netter with three seconds left to seal the deal from Connor McLaughlin from Ty Morton.

Eventhough the Beaver Valley outshot the Ghostriders 35 to 29  all three stars of the game went to the Fernie Ghostriders First Star Marty Wicks, Second Star Connor McLaughli, Third Star Brendan Burge
