Fernie Ghostriders won in game 6 and head to round two against the Golden Rockets

The Fernie Ghostriders earned a six to three win Saturday night as they traveled to Invermere for game six. Tyler Gonzales of the Ghostriders opened the Scoring with Aaron Neufeld coming short after with the second goal. The Columbia Rockies fought back with a goal making it 2-1 but local Sparwood player Dylan Robertson took back the game and made it 3-1.  Ben Primeau, Matt Carr and Captain Josh MicKissock all scored as well to create a final score of six to three.

Chris Solecki had a strong first series ending in first in Goals Against Average with 1.90 and fourth in the league and second in save percentage with 0.928.

The Win gives the Ghostriders a birth into the second round against The Golden Rockets who won their series in four straight games against the Kimberley Dynamiters.

Game one of the second round against the Rockets will start on Tuesday instead of Monday due to ice conflicts.
