Fernie Ghostriders lose game four and trail the series three games to one

Fernie Ghostriders will have a long bus ride back to Fernie tonight as they lose game four and trail the series three games to one.The Golden Rockets opened the scoring at 6:27 into the first period by Ian Desrosier from Brad Orr and out-shot the Riders twelve to eight.

The Rockets scored first in the second period as well making it two nothing at 6:35 by Michael Anderson from Felix Larouche and Josh Jewell. Less then a minute later Derek Chudyk cuts the lead to one from Aaron Neufeld. The Rockets kept a two to one lead at the end of the second period with out shooting the Riders 16-10 in that period.

The Rockets get the first two goals of the third period one scored by Keith Wake from Bobby Kashuba and Carter Cochrane and the other by Connor Beauchemin from Keith Wake and Michael Anderson. Tyler Gonzales scored less than a minute after Connor Beauchemin goal from R.T. Rice to cut the Rockets lead to four to two but the Rockets quickly respond with another two goals in the last ten minutes of the hockey game. The first one by Bobby Kashuba from Connor Beauchemin and the second goal by Jacob Bergeron from Blake Roney. The Riders did get another goal late in the third by Braeden Monk from Tyler Gonzales but it was too late for a comeback.

Final score was six to three for the Golden Rockets who also out shot the Fernie Ghostriders 49-35. Game 5 is in Fernie at 7:30pm on Monday.
