Elk Valley residents were urged to keep eyes peeled for a green 2006 Subaru Forester this morning.
The vehicle belongs to a missing male.
Fernie SAR posted after 9 a.m. that they located the vehicle and a rescue is in progress.
The male was last seen on Friday, when those close to him believe he went hunting.
Anyone with any information is urged to call the RCMP or Search and Rescue at 250-423-8366.
