Anyone interested in seeing how our MLAs our spending our tax money, can now see a breakdown of their expenses online.
The data was released with the public accounts on Monday, and lists salaries, travel expenses, and capital city allowances for all 85 MLAs.
East Kootenay MLA Bill Bennett said, “I live almost as far away as anyone and my expenses are a fraction of many others. I pride myself on not spending tax payers dollars needlessly and it shows in the report.”
