Local biker injured at Mount Fernie Provincial Park

Fernie Search and Rescue (SAR) responded to an injured biker on Lazy Lizard Trail on Wednesday evening.

Fernie Search and Rescue (SAR) responded to an injured biker on Lazy Lizard Trail on Wednesday evening.

The 25-year-old man fell off his bike and a broken collarbone was suspected, Simon Piney with Fernie SAR said in a press release.

The call came in at approximately 9:30 p.m., and crews assisted the biker down to the trailhead.

The local man was then taken to hospital.
