Chilly temperatures and drizzly rain didn’t stop supporters raising over $57,000 at this year’s Relay for Life fundraiser on Saturday.

Chilly temperatures and drizzly rain didn’t stop supporters raising over $57,000 at this year’s Relay for Life fundraiser on Saturday.

Cancer survivors and caregivers took part in the victory lap first, then enjoyed the entertainment all day long while teams walked and ran. There were 15 teams that took part, and more than 128 total participants. Team PEAK was the top fundraising team, raising $7,000, and Jessica Simard was the top fundraising individual, raising $3,640. The headshave raised $900.

Local bands and musicians kept the crowds entertained all day.
