After-dark troublemakers are egging the Seniors Villa in Sparwood.
Elk Valley RCMP have reported that multiple egging attacks have occurred at the Pine Avenue location in Sparwood over the last few months, with the villa buildings and vehicles on site being struck.
“These after-dark attacks leave behind a considerable mess that causes damage to the villas and to nearby vehicles,” said the RCMP report.
Egging is an act of mischief that is contrary to the criminal code.
So far, the RCMP have no leads and no motive, and are asking for community assistance.
“Someone is specifically targeting the Seniors Villa for an unknown reason.” said Constable Debra Katerenchuk.
“There is no doubt that persons in our community know who these culprits are.”
Anyone with information to identify those responsible for the eggings is asked to contact the Elk Valley RCMP at 250-425-6233.
