Commuters in the Elk Valley are advised to take a little extra time this coming week as the highways contractor Mainroad will be conducting a ditching project on Highway 3.
Beginning Monday, August 28, the ditching begins at Elko and proceeds to Fernie. Traffic will be single lane alternating during the project, so a little extra time will be needed to get where you’re going.
