The Monster Enemy Lines course and format has changed.

Competitors and members of the Fernie Ski Patrol inspected the original course yesterday and determined that the 45+ degree Lizard headwall was not safe for the competition due to extremely unstable snowpack, caused by the early spring-like recent weather.

The course will now start below the headwall, at the Lizard traverse.

Because of this, the prize money will now be split between all the skiers. The winner will get $5,000 and the 20 other skiers will each get their share of the remaining $15,000. Originally, the winner was going to win $20,000.
