Vandals spray Sparwood with lewd graffiti

Police are trying to track down vandals who have been spray painting racial slurs and lewd drawings on cars and houses in Sparwood.

Police are trying to track down vandals who have been spray painting racial slurs and lewd drawings on cars and houses in Sparwood.

The Elk Valley RCMP responded to five complaints of vandalism to vehicles and residential property in the downtown Sparwood area on Saturday, October 1.

All of the incidents involved graffiti using black spray paint. Several included lewd drawings and one included a racial slur.

More incidents were reported to the police as they were discovered by home owners.
