At a press conference on Tuesday afternoon, B.C. RCMP detailed some of the facts surrounding the disappearance (and return) of Kienan Hebert, as well as the arrest of 46-year-old Randall Hopley

Saturday, September 10th the Hebert's Pastor, Ron Rutley announced an early morning service would be held at the Sparwood Fellowship Baptist Church. "Lord willing, it will be to celebrate Kienan's safe return," said Pastor Rutley, and that it was.

NDP leader Adrian Dix visited a college campus Monday to call on the B.C. government to reinstate the student grant program it canceled in 2004.

The RCMP are stopping Vehiclles on Hwy 3 just before the Tunnel. They are asking local patrons to be on the lookout for Randall Peter Hopley, age 46 from Sparwood. His hair is brown, eyes hazel, he is Caucasian and has a birthmark along his hairline. Police are also searching for Hopley's vehicle a 1987 Toyota Camry, B.C. License plate 098 RAL.

Tears of joy are widespread in the community of Sparwood this morning as news quickly spread of Kienan's safe return.

Police believe the suspected abductor, Randall Hopley of Sparwood, returned the boy to his home. RCMP continue to hunt for the 46-year-old.

3-year-old "returned by suspect." Police found the boy in his home after a 911 call told them he'd be there. The search for Randall Hopley, a suspect in the kidnapping, continues.
