The City of Fernie will be considering Tax Exemption Bylaw No. 2284, Amendment Bylaw No. 2524, 2024 to exempt the following properties from taxation, for the calendar year of 2025, in accordance with sections 220, 224 and 225 of the Community Charter. The bylaw received its first three readings at the Regular Council Meeting of October 22, 2024 and Council will consider adoption at a Special Council Meeting on October 31, 2024.
A copy of the proposed bylaw and related documents are available for viewing at City Hall, 501 3rd Avenue, during regular business hours of Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
