Eduard Gotzy was born on Sept., 26 1936 and died March 9 2017. Ed emigrated to Fernie in 1952 from Germany and attended Fernie High school for the next 6 years. After graduation he attended Gonzaga U., where he got his BSc in chemistry. Ed moved to the USA. He got married and worked for Anaconda Aluminum In Columbia Falls Montana. He then moved, spent the last 40 year in Owensboro KY., where he died. Ed is survived by his brother Walter, as well as his wife Karen, two daughters Carol and Lanett, two grand daughters and one great grand daughter.
