Frances Hannah Fedorek (Jenkinson) passed peacefully in the early morning of June 7, 2018. She will be lovingly remembered by her children; Nancy, Norris (Debbie), Laura (Ron), Danny, Adele (David) and Nicci; as well as her grandchildren: Rick, Shayne, Christine, Dale, Renee, Matt, Danialle, Jesse, Ryan, Brittnee, Colton and Kaytlin, and their children, and by her sisters Lorraine and Joanna.
She is predeceased by her husband George in 1982 and by her siblings Thomasina, Mary, Jimmy and Henry.
Frances was born and raised in the little coal town of Michel by her parents Mary and Jonathon (Jonty) Jenkinson. She was a voracious reader who loved poetry, mysteries and current affairs; an animal lover especially fond of cats, and she had a witty sense of humour that she shared with everyone. She married George in 1950 and they lived in Natal and then the Elk Valley with their growing family.
Her rebellious spirit lives on through her sense of humour and love of the written word that she passed on to her children and grandchildren.
