Janet Weber

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Janet Weber on January 21, 2018 in the Elk Valley Hospital in Fernie, BC at the age of 74.

Janet is survived by her husband of 53 years, Orlan, 2 sons: Clark & his wife Annie of Wycliffe, BC,  and Timothy & his wife Leah of Fernie, BC, and daughter-in-law Laurie of New Dundee, ON; 7 grandchildren: Craig and Karina of New Dundee ON, Maelle, Loic, and Vanier of Wycliffe, and Parker and Wyatt of Fernie, and brothers Neal, Read, & Murray Latosky of Salmon Arm, BC as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and many friends. 

She was predeceased by her son Duane of New Dundee, ON, brother Grant, and sister Lorrie.  

A special thank you to Dr. Case, who made regular home visits, including skiing to our home one wintry day; and the staff at Elk Valley Hospital.

Visitation will be held at Cherished Memories "Serenity Chapel" on Friday, February 2nd from 6:30 to 9:00 PM.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 3rd, at the Christ Church Anglican in Fernie, at 11:00 AM. 

In lieu of flowers charitable donations may be made to the MS Society, the Canadian Cancer Society, or to the charity of your choice.
