PIRES:
It is with tremendous sorrow that we announce the death of Jose “Joe” Pires. Joe died on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at the age of 78 years.
Joe is survived by his loving wife Maria Pires, his sister Sister Maria Pires, his children Maria Ritchat (Larry), Louisa Casselman (Ken), Michelle Collins (David Small), his grandchildren Bill Ritchat, Jennifer Casselman, Lisa Ritchat, Kayla Ritchat, Kevin Collins, Steven Casselman, and his great grandchild Isabella Maria Ritchat.
Joe was very passionate about hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family and friends and he also served in the Knights of Columbus and the Federal Order of Eagles. He will be sadly missed by those who loved him.
A Funeral Mass was held at the Catholic Church in Sparwood on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 10:30 AM.
