1950 - 2019 ~ On Thursday, April 25th, Judith Charlene Beaton passed away at the age of 69 years. She was born in Fort William, ON on February 5, 1950.
Judy was outgoing, confident, and larger than life; the sound of her laughter could fill a room! She was extremely skilled and highly organized, working for years in a Management position through various Sears locations including the Calgary, Kelowna and Surrey stores. In her free time, Judy enjoyed giving back to her community; she was a member of the Sparwood Lions Club where she received awards in recognition of her valuable contributions, and in Kelowna she was the District Commissioner for Girl Guides.
Though a very successful woman in life, Judy would be the first to say that her greatest accomplishment of all was her family; she was so proud of them all! Judy has left her loved ones with a wonderful legacy to be shared for many generations.
Judy is survived by her beloved husband Ron, her son Cheyenne Beaton and daughter Charlene Beaton Hanuse (John Hassfeld), her precious grandchildren: Adam Hanuse and Brianna Squarek, and her sister Jane (Grant) Lowery and brother Frank (Sherry) Hunter as well and her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Byron and Mabel "Inez" Hunter, and in-laws Cecil and Winifred Beaton.
