It is with great sorrow that Lorene, Meghan, and family announce the passing of Larry Tripp. Larry passed quietly in his home in Fernie with his wife Lorene on Saturday, January 20th, 2018. He had been surrounded by his family over the past few weeks, sharing memories, laughter and tears.
Larry was born in Provost, Alberta on March 7th, 1944. He was predeceased by his parents Daniel and Elizabeth, and his sister Diane.
Larry's memory and love lives on with his wife Lorene Giles, daughters Meghan (Jeremy) of Creston, and Kim (Tracey) of Coquitlam, son Ryan (Peter) of North Vancouver, brother Jerry (Marge) of Tofield, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren.
He will be forever missed and remembered for his charm, love, acceptance, friendship, laughter and story-telling. May his journey be with all who loved and knew him.
At Larry's request, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Larry's name to Fernie Friends for Friends, 50 Ridgemont Drive, Fernie, BC, V0B 1M2.
