May 17, 1950 - January 5, 2021
It is with heavy hearts we announce that on January 5th, 2021, with her daughters by her side, Linda Krall took flight on her next adventure. Linda was an amazing woman with a heart of gold; she would often be found putting others before herself. She was the most loving, caring, affectionate - and a bit stubborn, of a woman you could meet.
Linda was born in Medicine Hat, AB on May 17, 1950 and spent a good portion of her life growing up there. She completed Nursing School before meeting her future husband, Allan (Beagen) Krall, in Halifax, NS while she was on nursing education.
Soon afterwards they got engaged and move to Victoria BC, then back to Medicine Hat where they welcomed their 2 wonderful daughters into the world. Shortly after the girls were born, they moved to their final destination, Sparwood, BC.
It was in Sparwood that Linda really shone; she was not only a wife and mother, she was also a grandma, friend, nurse, an avid golfer, a talented artist, an educator, actress, and baker, a reading enthusiast, sewer, collector, and crafter, and an all-round inspiration to many in the Elk Valley.
Linda was predeceased by her parents Phyllis and Harold Dunn and her brother Gerry Dunn, all of Medicine Hat, AB. She will be fondly remembered by her husband Allan (Beagen) Krall of Sparwood, her daughter Kristina (Chris) Meyer of Edmonton, AB and their boys Nathan and Nolan, and her daughter Kim (Erik) Byman of Calgary and their children Greta, Anders, and Henrik.
She is also survived by her brother Keith (Lillian) Dunn and her sister-in-law Harriet Dunn, all of Medicine Hat, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Lilac Terrace or Elk Valley Hospice appreciated.
