In loving memory of

Mary Hildebrandt

(1928-2011)

It is with our greatest sorrow and everlasting love that we announce the passage to heaven of our beloved mother, Mary Hildebrandt of Sparwood, British Columbia. She was a loving mother, wife, grandma, great grandma, sister and friend whom was called to be with the Lord on August 12, 2011 from the Elk Valley Hospital in Fernie, BC at the age of 83 years.

Our mom was born on July 10, 1928 in Morse, Saskatchewan to proud parents Isaac and Mary Dyck. She was raised with an appreciation for family, a strong work ethic and to love our Lord, Jesus Christ. As she blossomed into a lovely young lady, she captured the heart of a fine young man, Peter Hildebrandt, and in 1947 in Brooks, AB they pledged their love for one another in holy matrimony. In 1960, they moved to Michel, BC. They were blessed with twelve children and mom devoted her entire life to our happiness and well being. She also loved to cook, play cribbage and solve jig-saw puzzles. Her immense faith in our Lord was an inspiration to us all as was her dedication to her church. She cherished her family and our love for her shall remain eternal.

“Let the little children come to me! Never send them away!

For the Kingdom of God belongs to them who have hearts as trusting

as these little children’s”.

- (So said Jesus – so said our mom!)

She leaves to mourn her passing and celebrate her life her 11 children: Bob (Darlene), Wilma, Jim (Susan), Stan, Caroline (Tom), Dennis (Nancy), Debbie (Peter), Nancy (Chris), Brenda (Dale), Gary (Ruby) and Kevin (Dawn); her 21 grandchildren: Kelly, Barry, Jeniffer, Pam, Heidi, Carrie, Peter, Allison, Holly, David, Angie, Petra, Athena, Abigail, Whitney, Courtney, Jessica, Amber, Dana, Jason and Gracie; her 33 great grandchildren: Nickolas, Danielle, Shelby, Payton, Jimmy, Alyssa, Matthew, Kaylie, Zackary, Rebecca, Brayden, Brandon, Austin, Jade, Triston, Sean, Brenna, Quinn, Berett, Ella, Jordon, Abria, Emma, Irelynn, Jackson, Devon, Kohen, Eva, Tyrone, Destiny and Lily; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Peter Hildebrandt; her parents, Isaac and Mary; her daughter, Grace Hildebrandt; and her great grandchildren, Joey Walsh and Angel Flynn.
