It is with aching hearts that we announce the death of Michael Justin Edwin Voth (Mikey J), born February 8th, 1994, at age 17, of Fernie, B.C. He unexpectedly died on June 16, 2011. Michael is predeceased by his grandfather, Edwin Voth. He is is survived by his parents, Richard Voth, Shannon Voth (Keating), and brother Braydon Voth.
Grandparents: Agnes (Voth) and Bob Stockell, Becky (Keating) and Norm Chabot, Cam Webber (Papa). Uncle Dale and Aunt Ronda (Voth) Corrigan and cousins Miranda and Danielle, Aunt Teresa Voth, Uncle Darnell and Aunt Loralee, cousins Brianna, Nikkia and Tayshia Keating, Uncle Trevor and Aunt Melodie (Webber) Humphrey, cousins Ben and Matthew.
Michael attended Fernie Secondary School. He participated in numerous school sports, activities and volunteered with events. Played hockey, snowboarding and just joined the Jaffray baseball team. Thanks to his Papa Cam, he was an avid outdoorsman, snowmobiler, hunter, camper, and his great love of fishing. He worked weekends at Tembec in Elko. Michael lived his life to the fullest, he had two modes, go and sleep. Michael had many great friends and family and was truly loved by all. He will be forever loved and greatly missed. Your smiling face will never be forgotten.
Funeral services were held at the Fernie Community Centre June 27th, 2011.
