It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Pat Mitchell at the Elk Valley Hospital in Fernie, BC on January 7, 2012 at the age of 80 years.
Pat is survived by her children: Dawn (Ken), Graham (Roberta), Lavern, Heather (Syd), Lorri (Ron), Wayne (Mary), Cameron (Kim) and Lindsey; 2 brothers: George (Doreen) and Linden (Maryanne); her sister-in-law Trish; 19 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents David and Elma, brothers Robert, Elton and Virgil, sisters Marlene, Joyce and Sally and 3 great grandchildren.
Pat was a great lover of animals and an avid Nascar fan. She will be forever missed.
Services to be held in Avonlea, SK at a later date. Donations may be made to the BC Heart & Stroke Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to Cherished Memories Funeral Services Ltd.
