McINTYRE:
Raymond Augustus McIntyre, beloved husband of Bernadette, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at the age of 61 years. Raymond was born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia on July 2, 1948. He was predeceased by his parents Art & Nina Eagles, his brother Frank Eagles, and his stepson Bradley Lyons.
Besides his wife Bernie, Raymond is also survived by his step-children: Rhonda (Byron) LeClair, John (Kathy) Lyons, and Rhea Lyons, 6 grandchildren: Christopher Lyons, Joshua and Jaret LeClair, and Lhea, Andrea, and Cheyenne Lyons, and his great grandson, Calib Lyons. Raymond will also be missed by 6 brothers: Billy (Janette) Eagles and Art (Lillian) Eagles of Toronto, ON, John (Rose) Eagles of Glace Bay, NS, Charlie (Maureen) Eagles of Thunder Bay, ON, Richie (Debbie) Eagles of Glace Bay, NS, and Pat (Irene) Eagles of Fernie, BC, and 5 sisters: Evelyn (Francie) Milley of Glace Bay,NS, Mary Joynson of Thunder Bay,ON, Dora (Mel) Larson of Atikokan, ON, Murial (Dennis) Joynson of Thunder Bay, ON, and Arlene (Brian) Darby of Glace Bay, NS as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The Memorial Service celebrating Ray’s life was held at Cherished Memories “Serenity Chapel” on Monday, December 28, 2009 with Major Joan Shayler of the Salvation Army officiating.
