With loved ones at her bedside, 64 year old Sylvia Frances Vickers passed away following a courageous, hard fought battle with cancer.

Genuine and sincere; Sylvia embraced life and those around her with a non-judgemental heart; never uttering an unkind word towards anyone. Sylvia was passionate about life and enjoyed time spent with family and friends. Her hobbies included gardening, cross country skiing and traveling. She enjoyed fine dining and daily walks with her dog Mickey and good friend Delma. Sylvia held a degree in Sociology, and for the past 23 years worked in several positions with Line Creek. A petite woman with a gentle soul and an enormous heart, Sylvia will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Sylvia is survived by her soul-mate and best friend, Raymond Myles and his children: Lance (Robyn) Myles, Wade (Renee) Myles, and Michele Musil; 5 grandchildren: Fontanna, Dylan, Erika, Tyrel, and Ethan, her mother Anna Gladstone, her brother William (Evelyn) Gladstone and her sister Marie LaFournie. She is also survived by brothers-in-law Ken (Darlene) Myles, Terry (Gail) Myles, her sister-in-law Sherri Armitage, and her mother-in-law Gwen Myles. Sylvia was predeceased by her father Gerald Gladstone, brother-in-law Gene Gitlarsky, and her grandson Dakottah Myles.
