It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of

Tara Moore Lochbaum (nee Ferguson).

Tara died suddenly on Saturday, January 30, 2010 in Abbottsford, BC.

The youngest of three girls, Tara was born in Fernie on March 19, 1969 to parents Bob and Norma Ferguson. Tara grew up in Fernie, attending Isabella Dicken Elementary and Fernie Secondary before leaving the Elk Valley and moving to Richmond. In 1992 she met Dana Lochbaum, and by September 1993 the couple had married. On October 28, 2000 Tara and Dana were blessed with a son, Dalton Anthony Moore.

Tara loved being with the boys, 4x4ing and fishing on the banks of the Fraser. Her youth was spent enjoying time on the farm with her cousins and sisters, where her love for fishing and the outdoors blossomed.

Tara’s memory will live on in the lives to those she touched; she will be forever remembered with smiles and laughter.

Tara is survived by her son Dalton, his father Dana, her parents Bob and Norma Ferguson, and sister Missy( Trevor Lusk) Kamloops B.C, sister Tracy(Bill Matters) Lethbridge A.B. Nieces and nephews: Cassandra, Alicia, Caitlin, Alexandria, Rachel, Michaela, Kirstie, Chantal, Brayden, Shaun, and Taylor as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and her good friend Jason Blank.

The Memorial Service was held at Cherished Memories “Serenity Chapel” on Monday, February 8, 2010. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Raise the Roof, Attention Maureen Deery, 263 Eglinton Ave. West, Suite 200, Toronto, ON, M4R 1B1.
