It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the death, on May 10, 2011, of Terry William Steabner of Hosmer, B.C. Terry passed away at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Alberta. He was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on May 24, 1944.

Terry is lovingly survived by his wife Cindy and their children: Glenn (Barb) and Darren (Arista), grandchildren Terence and Kyle,and his mother Margaret Steabner. Terry was predeceased by his father Claude in 1986 and brother Norman in 1976.

He enjoyed the outdoors and spent much time on dune buggies, ATV’s, snowmobiles, motorcycles and boats. He thoroughly enjoyed camping trips. Many summer hours were spent on golf courses. Terry spent much time being involved in the community. He was a member of the Fernie Elks Lodge #81 for 36 Years and of the Hosmer Volunteer Fire Department.

Terry cherished and appreciated the importance of family and friends. He truly lived life to its fullest and leaves family and friends with a legacy of memories. He will be forever loved and never forgotten by all who knew him.

A celebration of Terry’s life was held at Cherished Memories “Serenity Chapel” on Tuesday, May 17th.
