Violet passed away peacefully in Kamloops, BC. Violet is survived by her children, Janet Harris (Raynie and Brian Anderson and children, Kristie and Mike Stefano and children, Corrie Harris and Tyler Pukas and children); Doug Guse (Daryl and Tamara; Chris and Alicia and son); her brother, Don Adamski, and many nieces , nephews and aunts. Violet lived a full life, with its share of adversity which she faced with courage and a spirit to endure, and of course her warm welcoming smile whenever family would come to visit! She spent many cherished years with her late Mother, Mary (Adamski) Smith, and was her mother's solid rock throughout her life. After Vi's passing, we were blessed to find a beautiful handwritten poem, which we believe she wrote:

The Clock of Life
The clock of life is wound but once,
And no man has the power..
To tell just when the hand will stop
At late or early hour.
Now is the only time you own,
Live Love and toil with a will
Place no faith in tomorrow,
For the clock may then be still.....

Rest in Peace dear Vi, you are reunited with many who love you, your husband Ron, your sons Shane and Allan, daughter Sandy, your son in law Randy, Mom Mary, Sister Ann, Sister in law Marnie, Brother in law Dave. You will be greeted by all with great love and a warm embrace.
