August 31, 1937 - August 10, 2021
On Tuesday, August 10th, Vivian Zuffa, supported by loved ones and caregivers, passed away peacefully at Elk Valley Hospital in her 83rd year. One of four children, Vivian Ann Dawson was born in Mountain Park, AB to parents Fred and Amelia on August 31, 1937.
Vivian is survived by sons Allan and Daryl (Phyllis), 7 grandchildren: Debbie (Jeff), AJ (Chantelle), Brianna (Kevin), Dustin (Hayley), Ryan, Darcy (Justina), and Megan, 7 great grandchildren: Chase, Lexi, Kassidy, Journey, Autumn, Keaton and Makenna, and sisters Jerry Kopchuk and Jean (Raynor) Johnson as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband John Zuffa, and brother Roy Dawson.
Vivian was a friend to many and a stranger to no one. She was lively and outgoing, a real social butterfly who enjoyed nothing better than the company of others, always sharing great conversation accompanied with lots of laughter.
Together Vivian and John loved to spend their summers camping, fishing, and tending to their meticulous yard. They were constantly perfecting recipes, giving samples of their smoked meats and canned goods to appreciative family and friends. There was always a project or two going on in the Zuffa household.
Vivian had many lifelong friendships that withstood the test of time. Her coffee friends were a wonderful and integral part of her support system, and she truly loved them all. She will be dearly missed by so many!
RIP, Vivian, until we meet again.
