Just a short note on your article “Education key to avalanche safety.”
First, it’s great to see an article like this in the paper with a positive spin on our sport.
Secondly I was overwhelmed by the response from the public to the “Know the Snow” program, all three sessions were packed full. I enjoyed your article but there is an omission. Although Paul Kramer and Ghostrider Motorsports contributed a lot of time and some nice discounting on doorprizes, as well many other people contributing a huge amount of time and effort, Teck Coal was the main sponsor and donated all the monetary resources. Hopefully this will inspire the people who attended to further their training and avalanche knowledge.
