Fernie Ghostriders end their season with a four to one loss in Golden

The First period was even with The Golden Rockets Blake Roney opening the scoring at 8:14 from Carson George and Brett DeFrias. Minutes later Fernie Ghostriders player Tyler Gonzales who was a game time decision for game six as he went down awkardly in game five; gets the Riders opening goal from Ben Primeau at 2:44. The first period ended tied at one and thirteen shots a piece.

The second period was all Rockets with outshooting 24 to 10 and scoring two goals. The first goal scored by Bobby Kashuba from Keith Wake at 18:40 then at 13:01 Blake Roney scores to make it three to one from Jacob Bergeron and Coltin Berard and no goals in the third.

Fernie Ghostriders Goalie Chris Solecki has given the Riders a chance in this game with 49 saves but did not get help from the Ghostrider forwards. The Ghostriders lose the Eddie Mountain Division for the first time since 2004 and have a long road home from Golden
