Fernie Half Marathon results are in

Locals take the podium at the Fernie Half Marathon and 10 km run last weekend.

Runners about to start their 21 kilometre half marathon run in Fernie on Oct. 6.

Teenagers to people in their 70’s came from all over to run the Fernie Half Marathon and 10 km Sprint on Oct. 6.

“We had a lot of positive comments about all the children helping hand out water along the course and cheering them on,” said race organizer Wendy Howse. “My goal for the year was 400; we officially had 399!”
