It was an emotional evening last Saturday as the Fernie Ghostriders held their annual awards banquet in celebration of their 2014-15 achievements.

After acknowledging the various volunteers, staff, parents, billet families, board members and players who contribute to the ongoing success of the club, the time came to announce the award recipients for the season:

The club also gave special recognition to the five 20-year-old players who completed their junior hockey careers with the Fernie Ghostriders this year.

While the season may be finished for the Fernie franchise, the work continues for head coach and general manager Craig Mohr as he begins preparations for 2015-16. The club will hold their annual general meeting Wednesday, May 20 and invite all those interested in being involved next season to attend.
