Blue, sunny skies and a great turnout meant the Raging Elk Powder, Pedal, Paddle at Fernie Alpine Resort was better than ever this year.
With 31 teams, nine solo men and two solo women taking part in the fun 18 km relay race, competition was fierce among some, and a little less serious among others.
The teams and solo competitors skied, cycled, kayaked and ran their way along the course, with great support from spectators.
