Swimmers dive into competition

On April 29 to May 1, the Elk Valley Dolphins Swim Club (EVDSC) hosted the EVDSC 2011 Invitational swim meet at the Fernie Aquatic Centre.

On April 29 to May 1, the Elk Valley Dolphins Swim Club (EVDSC) hosted the EVDSC 2011 Invitational swim meet at the Fernie Aquatic Centre.  A total of nine teams and 206 swimmers competed in the meet, with clubs from Cranbrook, Calgary, Cochrane, and Lethbridge.

Thirty-seven swimmers from the Elk Valley Dolphins swim club competed in the meet. For 22 Dolphins, this was their first sanctioned meet, making it very exciting.
